Delete your account

You can permanently delete your MoodBite account and personal data at any time. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.

What gets deleted

• Your profile and account details, including name, email and avatar
• Your food preferences, dietary information and allergies
• Your search history, favourites, saved places and travel lists
• Any menu or review photos you uploaded
• Your OAuth sign-in identities, so the account can no longer be accessed

What is anonymised and kept

Some records are shared with the restaurants you interacted with. So they remain accurate for the business while no longer identifying you, these are anonymised rather than deleted:

• Past bookings keep the date and party size, with your name and contact details removed
• Reviews keep their rating for the restaurant, with your text removed

Any active subscription is cancelled, and you are signed out on every device.

How to delete

In the app or on the web, open Profile and use Delete account in the danger zone, or use the button below. You will be asked to type DELETE to confirm.
